June 25 Monday - Rotary Toronto West Evening HOSTING Event

ROTARY TORONTO WEST (RTW) held a Rotary International Convention HOST dinner event on Monday June 25 2018 at the Humber College Lakeshore Campus in Etobicoke, a west end Toronto suburb. The event was held in the HUMBER INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & ADVANCED LEARNING. This campus had been built to serve as a mental health facility during much of the last century. The complex is now used primarily for education and historical purposes.

54 Rotarians from around the world were hosted by about 30 local RTW Rotarians and guests. Many were from the USA (PA, NH, FL, NY, CA, WY,UT, HI, TX and FL), along with International guests from Great Britain, India, Switzerland, Australia and guests from several Canadian Provinces (Alberta, BC and the Maritimes) Apologies for any omissions!

Following a welcoming refreshment, a brief tour was given featuring a visit to the tunnels which provide heat and water services to the many campus buildings. A dinner followed, with a presentation of a few club recognition awards and gifts. We thank all participants who attended and those volunteers that helped to make this a fun and entertaining evening.
