Our 20th Rotary Youth Impact Awards Gala Charity Fundraiser was held at The Old Mill Inn on Jan 25 2019. The Lifetime Achievement Recipient this year was Denise Bebenek, Founder and Chair of "Megan's Walk - Creating a Circle of Hope". Five other awards were given to Individuals and Organizations for meritorious efforts in assisting youth.

The third presentation to Denise Bebenek was by RTW President Stephen Thiele presenting the cheque to Denise, in support of Meagan's Walk, the organization she founded following the death of her 5 year old daughter, Meagan due to a brain tumour. Over the past 17 years, Meagan's Walk has raised more than $5.4 million for paediatric brain tumour research."
