ECI - "Days for Girls" - Assembling Kits Feb 21, 2019

The Interact Club of the Etobicoke Collegiate Institute held a special team event hoping to MAKE A DIFFERENCE for many young girls that often skip school several days a month for lack of feminine hygiene products in their country.

Over 30 Interact students of ECI volunteered to stay after classes to fabricate kits for the local Toronto chapter of the international "Days for Girls" organization. Thousands of kits are sent to schools in SE Asia and Africa. It is common for young girls to miss out on several days of important schooling each month.
