ECI Interactors & students write Santa letters to the Philippines Nov 23 2017
Over 60 students from various Etobicoke colleges and friends got together to send more than 800 Santa letters to pen-pals at Baybay Elementary School in Ozamiz City, Philippines. The event was hosted by the Etobicoke Collegiate Interact Club on Nov 23, 2017.
The ECI Interact Chapter was founded in 2015 with the support of the Rotary Club of Toronto West to provide an opportunity for young people to work together in a world fellowship dedicated to service and international understanding. A goal of Interact is to recognize and develop constructive leadership and personal integrity.

The thank you letters that come back later are often from kids experiencing very difficult circumstances. Despite being worlds apart, these “penpal” exchanges help to build bonds of both hope and understanding, and can bring future changes and opportunities in many ways yet to be discovered.
