On May 5, 2022, Charles MacKenzie of SECOND HARVEST gave us a terrific presentation outlining the humanitarian, environmental and economic impacts of this top-rated charity. It is the largest food rescue organization in Canada, and with the help of many partners, they are able to capture surplus food and distribute it from coast to coast. 4.2 million Canadians were served in 900 communities, valued at $120 million. You will certainly be impressed by the scope and growth of this widely appreciated organization.
